The Motorola RAZR Reboot FINALLY Gets An Official Teaser & Launch Date

Leaked renders of how the device MAY look

So we’ve known for a while now that Motorola is rebooting its legendary RAZR device and of course over here at the office, we’ve been hella excited. Forget the fact that we’re all old enough to even remember the original RAZR device, in an age where all smartphones look the same, a foldable is more than welcome. I could go on reminiscing about the old days of flip phones and physical QWERTY keyboards but that’s not the point of this article.

Renders of the yet to be announced Motorola RAZR V4 originally surfaced online back in January and then again in April. Today, it has been revealed by CNET that Motorola has sent out invites for a November 13th launch event in the form of a gif that hints very strongly that it’s the launch of the RAZR V4.

Okay so the gif is rather vague but it does kind of look like the signature RAZR hinges are being pulled apart to reveal a completely different device underneath. If you’re not convinced by the invite, then this next hint will most definitely convince you.

Apparently the taglines for the event include the phrases “An original unlike any other” and “You’re going to flip,”. I mean, if that’s not enough of an indication, I don’t know what is.

Now, if the device looks anything like the rendered leaks, then it looks like we’re going to have the first vertically folding screen in the market. With all the problems that Huawei and Samsung ran into with their foldables, I do hope that Motorola comes through for the RAZR.
