Last month we were teased Lenovo’s latest Legion gaming smartphone, which is already looking to be a beast early on. But now, courtesy of XDA-Developers, we have a better look at what the device looks like and will be capable of.

The phone was apparently leaked via some marketing videos, which revealed the bold, gamer oriented design. In the images, both cameras on the back are in the middle of the device, and for the selfie camera (here’s where it gets interesting) is a pop-up camera that comes out of the side.

It makes sense if Lenovo were pushing for users to use the smartphone horizontally, but still, kind of weird. The pop-up has the Legion logo, with a dual-LED flash in the center of the phone with the Legion star.

The promos also mention two USB-C ports, where the second one is on the side of the device so it can be charged while you game. There’s two speakers for stereo sound in the top and bottom of the phone, and the Legion phone will come with a 1.4 cc chamber for better sound and something called “dual heat pipe partitions”.

The source also claims other specs about the phone, stating it would house UFS 3.0 storage, LPDDR5 RAM, 144hz screen refresh rate with a 270Hz touch sampling rate. Based on earlier rumours and reports, the device will house a massive 5000mAh battery that’s apparently capable of a 90W fast charge. That’s insanely fast.

The cameras on the rear are a 64MP main camera and 16MP ultrawide lens. The front-facing camera is reported to be a 20MP sensor.

Push comes to shove, the Lenovo Legion gaming smartphone might be the most powerful we’ve seen to date in terms of raw performance and battery life. But, let’s see when if the device stacks up once it’s officially available globally.
