Apple has sent out invitations to the media for its next big product launch. Of course, as usual, they plan to introduce their newest devices and services at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino, California, and one of the biggest devices to be launched, will be the iPhone 11.
This year, Apple is expected to launch three new models to replace the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR, which are probably going to be named the iPhone 11, 11 Max and 11R? Not as catchy as you want it to be. But Apple may find it harder to sell their devices this year, it’s expected that they aren’t going to be changing the basic design. And that’ll make it three years in a row where the iPhone has had the same look.
Quite ironic, considering their invite says “By innovation only”. Not to mention the fact that many companies have already started introducing phones with flexible screens, and with 5G, we’ll have to see if Apple takes the initiative to somehow bring something new to the table. But have you seen the ugly design renders? That’s probably another reason to skip out on the iPhone, if those other reason weren’t enough.
The rumored iPhone 11 colors matching with the invitation to the September 10th event may look familiar to old school fans… pic.twitter.com/pAOvo0xmai

Also, Apple’s invite looks reminiscent of their older devices, as MKBHD pointed out in the tweet above. Their Twitter feed also is blank, and has zero tweets. It seems that they’re going for a refresh of their image and brand? But that’s just speculation.
The impact of an ‘iPhone’ doesn’t have what it used to, considering the amount of devices out there in the market right now. Cheaper, more powerful, and a plethora of other reasons to not spend RM 4999 and above for a PHONE. But we’ll have to see when the phone is announced on September 10th, so, we’ll keep you updated.
