Teradata, big data analytics and marketing applications company, appoints Saqib Sabah as its new Country Manager for Malaysia. As a Teradata veteran with more than 17 years of work experience in international markets including several positions within Teradata, Sabah is now responsible to drive growth for Teradata’s business in Malaysia as well as to manage and oversee its sales, professional services and customer management strategies.
Sabah says: “Malaysia is a significant market for Teradata and over the years, we have established a strong presence particularly in the financial services and Telco sectors. I am looking forward to the task of continuing our engagement with businesses in Malaysia to use Big Data Analytics to drive business growth, as well as working with the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation’s Innovation Network to accelerate Big Data Analytics adoption in Malaysia.”
Prior to this appointment, Sabah held global sales leadership roles at Teradata in Thailand, the United Kingdom and Pakistan. His journey with Teradata’s solutions began in 2002 when Teradata was part of NCR Corporation.
