These operators have been numerous times been fined for the same offence. Listed on the MCMC website, among the operators who were found to having committed the faults were Maxis Mobile, U Mobile, Digi Telecommunications, Tune Talk, Celcom Mobile, XOX Com and Altel Communications.

Apart from telcos, the agency also issued compound for content violation by broadcasters and were given to provider Measat Broadcast Network (Astro).
