U Mobile’s Mobile Legends Campus Championship 2019
RM 50,000 Up For Grabs!
U Mobile is back with another year of eSport campus tournament with Mobile Legends Bang Bang mobile game. The tournament will span for a period of 6 months starting from April 2019 to September 2019 and will be held in 22 local and private universities across nine states in West Malaysia.
This time round, U Mobile has raised up the tournament prize pool worth up to RM50,000 along with five units of Razer Phone 2, a quintessential gaming smartphone. For the campus tournament, the winning team of each campus will get cash prize of RM1,000 and qualify to compete in the grand finale tournament which will be held in the Battle Arena Jaya Shopping Complex. The prize pool increases for the winners in the grand finale tournament with 1 st prize of RM10,000 cash prize and five units of Razer Phone 2, while the first runner up will get RM5,000, followed by RM2,000 for second runner up winning team.
APU Bukit Jalil has been selected as the first campus for the kick-off tournament as the campus has an eSports academy that is a joint-initiative by eSports Malaysia and APIIT Education Group which promotes healthy competitive gaming within the university environment and is recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education. The event will be held for 2 days on the 8th and 9th April, and followed by Taylor’s University Lakeside campus on the 15th and 16th April 2019.
During the campus event day, there will be fun activities for gamers and non-gamers. For example, U Mobile will be running an Instagram contest where you can win smartphones!
All you have to do is:
1. Snap a photo of yourself with Mobile Legends costume, props and backdrop
2. Write a creative caption and hashtag #UMobileMLCC2019
3. Post it on Instagram (Follow myumobile Instagram and set your profile to Public)
4. Top 3 submissions with Most Likes and best caption wins!
