Sunway University Sings MoU To Enhance Research Collaboration In Malaysia

Sunway University and Emerald Publishing have formalised a strategic partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a significant step in enhancing collaboration between academia and publishing.

The MoU, signed on [Date], aims to strengthen the link between higher education institutions and publishing companies, fostering advancements in research and projects in Malaysia. This agreement is noteworthy as it represents Emerald Publishing’s first partnership with a local private university in the East Asia region.

The signing ceremony took place with Professor Abhimanyu Veerakumarasivam, Provost of Sunway University, and Wan Yat Seng, Regional Director of Emerald Publishing for the East Asia Region, leading the proceedings. The event was witnessed by Associate Professor Dr Calvin Cheong, Deputy Dean of Sunway Business School, and William Loh, Customer Success Partner at Emerald.
