Hot on the heels of the launch of Windows 8.1, Microsoft now plans to visit university campuses to reach out to the student body with their new operating system, visiting university campuses in this experience roadshow. A unique collaboration with PC.com, its first stop of this experience roadshow had been Kompleks Mahasiswa within Universiti Putra Mahasiswa.

During this leg, about six to eight Windows 8.1 tablets are placed on display, letting students explore the new features themselves. A game had also been pre-installed in each tablet, leaving students to compete with each other. The winner of said competition walked away with a giant teddy bear. Each contestant was also required to fill a ‘trial card’, and were given mini-plushies as a token of appreciation.

The next roadshow is set for Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, specifically the Aras 3 Cafeteria, Bangunan Pusanika, on 26 November 2013. Right after, the PC.com-Microsoft Cruiser will make an appearance at Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman at Cafeteria 2 on 27 November 2013.
