Today, the Ministry of Health have identified 710 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 24, 514 cases, with 8,416 active cases as of October 23. The 710 new cases are broken down as 1 imported and 709 domestic.

467 new case have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 15, 884. This also brings Malaysia to a recovery case percentage of 64.80 percent.

There are currently 90 cases being treated in the ICU, with 28 cases on ventilation support.

The total number of deaths from the coronavirus increases by 10 to a total of 214.
