The upcoming soft reboot of the Soulcalibur series inches ever closer. Bandai Namco Entertainment is thus introducing the next character returning to the stage of history. Fan favourite Taki marks the 11th character to make their way into the Soulcalibur VI roster. The famous ninja follows after popular characters such as Mitsurugi, Sophitia, and even guest newcomer Geralt of Rivia from the Witcher series.
Taki is a Japanese demon-hunting kunoichi and the greatest warrior of the Fu-Ma ninja clan. She travels the world on a quest to destroy an evil sword known as Soul Edge. Taki wields the swords Rekki-Maru and Mekki-Maru in battle. The character has appeared in every iteration of Soulcalibur except for Soulcalibur 5, which means that her appearance here is a long-awaited return.
Other returning fighters are Siegfried, Ivy, Zasalamel, Sophitia, Mitsurugi, Nightmare, Xianghua and Kilik. There are also newcomers, which include Grøh and guest character Geralt of Rivia.
