Latest glimpse at PlayStation VR at Sony’s PlayStation Experience event on December 5th 2015 in San Francisco. PlayStation VR, previously known by the codename Project Morpheus, is an upcoming virtual reality headset.

The PlayStation VR is a tethered headset exclusive to Sony’s PlayStation 4 which uses special curved lenses to magnify and stretch the 5.7-inch screen 1080 OLED dsiplay the specs specifically are 1,920 x RGB x 1,080 across your line of sight. PlayStation VR capable of displaying a smooth and crisp refresh rate of 120Hz and has a higher field of view (nearly 100 degrees). Low latency is crucial for a great VR experience, with the latency reduced to less than 18ms, it helps to deliver a sense of presence and comfort to players.

Sony’s VR  has no confirmed release date and how much the headset will cost, although Sony has scheduled its launch for the first half of 2016.
