Sony has launched two new portable speakers and wireless microphones under its ULT POWER SOUND series in Malaysia, marking the beginning of a brand collaboration with global superstar Post Malone.

The ULT FIELD 5 and ULT FIELD 3, designed for music lovers on the move, feature enhanced bass performance through a dedicated ULT button and are built for high durability, offering up to 25 and 24 hours of battery life respectively. Both models are rated IP66 and IP67 for waterproof and dustproof protection, including saltwater resistance.

In addition to the speakers, Sony introduced the ULTMIC1 wireless microphones, which connect seamlessly to the ULT POWER SOUND series and are designed to deliver crystal-clear vocals for karaoke or performances. The mic system allows instant connection via dongles and supports duet features.

As part of the “For The Music” audio campaign, Post Malone has joined Sony to showcase the new range. The genre-bending artist said, “I’ve always wanted the music to feel personal, and this partnership with Sony is a chance to create something that brings people closer to the music in a real way. This ULT POWER SOUND series is insane, everyone should really experience this.”

Sony has also taken steps to make the new series environmentally conscious. Packaging for the ULT FIELD 5, ULT FIELD 3 and ULTMIC1 excludes plastics, in line with the company’s sustainability efforts.

The ULT FIELD 5 will be available in Malaysia from July 7, 2025, at RM1,499. The ULT FIELD 3 and ULTMIC1 are available now, priced at RM899 and RM799 respectively.
