Sony Electronics introduced the XAV-AX8500, a new addition to its car AV receiver lineup.
This model features a 10.1-inch HD touchscreen with an optically gapless design for high-quality visuals and precise touch operation.
It offers an enhanced user interface with customizable icon positioning and wallpaper, along with an anti-glare design for improved visibility.
The XAV-AX8500 includes HDMI connectivity for external audio and visual source devices, and its tilt and swivel mechanism allows manual adjustments to the display’s viewing angles.
It offers features like Quick Wake Up, wireless smartphone connection, and support for up to three connected cameras.
Other notable features include USB Type-C compatibility, built-in DSP for sound processing and time alignment, LDAC support for high-quality audio streaming, high voltage pre-out for clearer sound, FLAC audio file compatibility, and gold-plated pre-out terminals for building a full acoustic system.
The product also focuses on environmental sustainability, with 90% of its packaging cushions made from paper materials and reduced ink usage for printed information.
The XAV-AX8500 is set to be available in Malaysia starting from January 2024.
