Fancy a new mobile lens for your smart device? Well, Sony introduced some new concepts for you to consider.
If you ever need a bunch of camera lenses but you don’t want to get separate cameras to show them off, then you should consider the two new additions to Sony’s lens-style camera line-up that includes the new interchangeable-lens concept.
Sony’s new offering, the ILCE-QX1 and DSC-QX30, are priced at RM1,699 and RM1,399 respectively. These cameras unite the spontaneity and easy sharing of the smartphone with the imaging power and creative options of a premium camera.
THE ILCE-QX1 lets serious photographers make use of their precious E-mount/A-mount lens collection. The camera’s APS-C size Exmor CMOS sensor with 20.1-megapixels is teamed up with the advance BIONZ X processor, allowing photographers to take images with flawless detail while making as little noise as possible. Other features of the QX1 includes Superior Auto which adjusts the camera settings for top-quality results in dozens of different scenes, the ability to shoot RAW image files for post-production editing purposes, and the debut of a pop-up flash in a lens-style camera to brighten up portraits, gloomy interiors and night scenes.
On the other hand, the compact DSC-QX30 with its powerful 30x optical zoom lens, aided by the Optical SteadyShot image stabilization allows users to keep images crisp and clear while eliminating blurring. Clear Image Zoom allows the camera to reach 60x magnifications without sacrificing pixel count and when partnered with Lock-on AF, allows the camera to capture fast-moving actions by continuously shooting at up to 10fps.
Both cameras are compatible with Sony’s wearable RM-LVR1 and RM-LVR2V Live View Remote controls and can be connected to your smartphone via Wi-Fi using the PlayMemories Mobile app.
