Sony Adds OLED 4K TVs To The Master Series Line Up With The Launch Of The A9G.

In this day and age, you’re not going to be buying a TV unless it’s 4K. That’s just how far technology has come. Sony continue to stay ahead of the game by bringing their famous colour clarity & picture quality to their MASTER series line up with the introduction of the A9G 4K HDR OLED TV.

The TV is meant to represent the pinnacle of picture quality for home viewers and is capable of displaying images that faithfully convey the creators intent. No, really. There’s a feature that actually calibrates the content you’re watching on Netflix to ensure that you experience it exactly how the creators of the show intended you to. All this shouldn’t come as a surprise however, as the MASTER series name is only given to the very best in the Sony TV portfolio.

The new model features the next generation Picture Processor X1 Ultimate to guarantee accurate detail and contrast. Picture quality isn’t the only thing that’ll wow you about this TV though. The sound on this thing is amazing. Recognizing that sound quality is part of the viewing experience as well, the A9G features the new Sound-from-Picture Reality technology which faithfully reproduces the position of the sound on the screen so when actors are speaking, the sound appears to be coming directly from their mouths and not from the speaker.

It wouldn’t be a TV in 2019 without Android TV support and the A9G has that in abundance. The TV supports a huge range of apps from the Google Play store such as YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Video and more. Making the smart TV even smarter, the A9G has google assistant built in. To top that off, the remote control for the TV uses bluetooth technology which means you no longer have to point the damn thing at the TV, you can point it in any direction and the remote will still work.

The Sony MASTER Series  A9G is available in 77″, 65″ and 55″ variants and is priced at RM49,999, RM18,999 and RM11,949 respectively. It will be available from the end of July onwards.
