Just last week we reported that Facebook owned copycat reportedly was more popular than Snapchat – despite the latter being the pioneer of the formats of disappearing photos, Stories and other Snapchat capabilities.
In a move to stay relevant, SnapChat is allowing you to use Lenses using your rear camera.
Lenses launched a year ago for front facing cameras, letting users use masks and transform into funny looking versions of puppies, or add a flower crown…..etc.
In the latest update, you can add 3D images, words or objects superimposed into the world around you. The augmented reality with this update is more interactive, allowing you to plant flowers too.
Let’s see how long it takes before a certain tech giant decides to come up with some “revolutionary” “groundbreaking” technology to copy rival them.
