I know I’m not the only one who screenshots what’s on my Spotify and posts it as an Instagram story. Instagram and Spotify realised people love to share Spotify tunes onto Instagram stories and made it easier to do so! You can now directly share what you’re listening to and allow friends to listen too.

Spotify now let’s you share to Instagram Stories directly. As such, you can now easily share Spotify tracks to your Instagram Story or to friends directly. You just need to tap Share, and you’ll see Instagram Story as one of the options. There’s even custom cover art stickers for every song, album, playlist, or artist on Spotify. On top of that, you can use Instagram’s editing tools to add fun stickers and captions before sharing with friends. And the best part? You don’t even need to connect the apps on your phone.

When your friends check out your Story, they’ll see an option to play what you’re listening to on their own Spotify app. You know how excited you get when you share your favourite music to friends? This feature takes music discovery to a new level; friends can see as well as tune in to what you’ve been listening to, and you can do the same with them too.

You can start looking out for Instagram Stories in the Share menu on Spotify mobile. It’s out globally on both iOS and Android. Time to start listening, sharing and connecting!
