According to VentureBeat, Samsung is set to unveil iteration in its line of Galaxy S smartphones during the annual CES tradeshow in Las Vegas next year, giving us a sneak peek at both the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. Despite that, the company continues to build up the excitement by holding off the launch until mid next near.

A person who claims to have been briefed on the company’s plans says that the new phones will share the same Infinity curved Super AMOLED displays as its predecessors, but with an upgraded 6GB RAM for the S9+, along with a bigger screen (of course). Both phones are said to employ 10-nanometer fabrication techniques, which is highly suggestive of the upcoming Snapdragon 845 from Qualcomm. As for the rest, it would pretty much be the same.

Apart from that, is has been predicted that the new phones will keep the headphone jack and have a second rear camera on the 9+. Does that remind you of any other smartphone brand?
