Samsung Unveiled The Galaxy A70; With A Bigger Screen Than The S10+

The A70

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A70, the newest smartphone in the Galaxy A range. The phone is built with Samsung’s latest innovations and upgraded features. It showcases a staggering 6.7″ Infinity-U display which is the biggest display in the A series lineup yet and also beats the Galaxy S10+’s 6.4″ display. With that towering display, comes a 20:9 display ratio which has a immersive viewing experience while providing optimal grip.

Something to consider, is that bigger, doesn’t always mean better. People with smaller hands might find it troublesome to hold the phone, so keep that in mind before making any purchases. The A70 comes with a triple camera setup with a 32MP super high-res front and rear lens. That includes a depth lens, which enables users to adjust the depth of field before and after taking a shot. There is also an 8MP Ultra Wide Lens.

DJ Koh, President and CEO of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics had this to say about the A70

“Today’s consumers are using their phones in a more visually active and authentic way – sharing their experiences and staying connected longer,”

“These connections can only thrive when the most essential features allow people to enhance interactions through spontaneous, collaborative, and genuine connection. This requires an evolution. Which is why, to meet the needs of this emerging generation, we created the new Galaxy A70 – designed for the way people are connecting now.” He added.

The phone is equipped with a massive 4500mAh battery and has Super-Fast Charging at 25W. The phone will come it 4 colours, Coral, Blue, White and Black and will also feature an On-Screen Fingerprint sensor.

More information on the Galaxy A will be revealed at ‘A Galaxy Event’ on April 10th.
