Samsung Electronics has launched its Odyssey OLED G6, the world’s first 500Hz OLED gaming monitor, initially available in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia, with further global rollout planned later this year.

The 27-inch Odyssey OLED G6 offers a 500Hz refresh rate, ultra-fast 0.03ms response time, and QHD resolution using QD-OLED technology, designed to deliver smooth, sharp and responsive gameplay even in intense gaming scenarios. Certified with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500, it supports NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for tear-free visuals.

Engineered for long gaming sessions, the monitor features peak brightness of 1,000 nits, Samsung’s Glare Free technology to reduce reflections, and OLED Safeguard+ to prevent burn-in over time. The display is Pantone Validated, reproducing over 2,100 colours and 110 SkinTone shades, ensuring accurate and vivid visuals.

Samsung offers pre-order discounts from May 15 to 31, 2025 in Malaysia, with combined savings of up to RM1,300 available through promotional and registration vouchers. The Odyssey OLED G6 retails at RM5,499 before discounts.
