Samsung Gets Bolder; Says Their Devices Are Secure Because Of Samsung Knox

Why don’t you just @ them, Samsung?

Samsung have come out of the woodworks to claim that their devices are secure. What could this be in relation to, I wonder? Sure, we get that you’re secure Samsung. But is it because you’re secretly insecure that you came out in such fashion? With Huawei out of the picture for the time being, Samsung wants to capitalise anyway they can. They mention the importance of our devices and how much we actually use them. This includes both work and leisure, where our devices contain documents, photos, and all your data. So the possibility of unwanted malware or malicious threats are ever present.

“It is vital to have a smartphone equipped with the highest-grade security that fits to our lifestyle. Samsung Knox safeguards your important data by offering a multi layered security, data encryption and data isolation. Other than the above, it can separate professional and personal space on the same device through a secure folder. This folder provides additional layer of security.”

They also mention that their devices are trusted by governments, finance, healthcare and security agencies. Seriously Samsung, what are you trying to say here? While I understand security and such is important, for many, it’s just a passive thought. They’re pushing security and such, is of course because Huawei is now getting painted as compromised. But damn, I feel like Samsung’s come out swinging with this one. And who can blame them? Take what you can get, right?
