Huawei Malaysia launches a 30-seconds video challenge dubbed ” OH MY WEI-DEO”. The challenge is aimed to the youths of Malaysia, Singapore and other asean countries. The competition is currently being held until 22 April 2016.
The motive of the campaign is to create awareness and engage youths, our future generation, to shape a future that is closely linked to technological advancement. Should our world becomes more connected, Huawei aims to expose youths and students of the higher education to the infinite possibilities.
Grand prizes of a 2D/1N trip to Universal Studio Singapore, three sets of Honor 5X mobile handsets and 10 consolation prizes of RM500 Starbucks card each will be given away to the winning entries. To top it off, selected videos will also gain a 30-hour air-time at the CommunicAsia 2016 Expo, one of the largest ICT trade exhibitions in Asia Pacific region. The CommunicAsia 2016 will be held from 31 May – 3 June 2016 with a target audience of 50,000 international business communities.
Participants are required to choose 1 out of the 3 themes, record a video using any device including mobile phone and camcorder, in any format such as film, animation, or illustration and write a 100 words synopsis about their video vision. Completed videos must be emailed to [email protected] before 22 April 2016.
