Low Profile On The Go
Like most of Zowie’s gaming mice, the Zowie ZA13 is a low profile gaming mouse without the fancy RGB lighting or the ‘gamery’ designs. It has a nice finish with rubber cables instead of braided cables. I can see why they opted for the rubber cables; it’s easier to fold and pack, useful for when you need to pack up and go to gaming tournaments. The fact that it’s driverless makes it an even better choice in terms of portability.
Performance wise, it’s a very solid mouse for FPS games such as CS:GO and Overwatch. The thumb buttons can be set in the game options and is handy in game. It glides around nicely without any bumps and I didn’t have any issue with it while playing. The only gripe I have with the Zowie ZA13 though is the lack of an on-the-fly DPI switch. The DPI switch is underneath the mouse, making it difficult if you want to adjust the DPI mid-game.
Luxury Gaming Accessory
As for the CAMADE, it’s a nice extra to have when gaming. It effectively raises the cable off the mouse pad to give you the feeling that you’re using a wireless mouse without the drawbacks of latency or sudden battery deaths. It’s solid and steady and doesn’t topple over easily even when you accidentally knock it or pull too hard on the mouse. It’s probably not worth it for casual gamers, but for professionals, I can understand why you’d use one.
Verdict: The mouse is decent, and I can see why professional gamers may like it while the CAMADE is solid albeit unnecessary if you’re just a casual gamer.
