In the era we are in today, there seems to be a rise in new technologies as well as brands out there that are offering an entry level product. As a consumer, we are all aware of entry level graphics cards are plenty.

 The MSI R7 360 is one such card that comes at an affordable RM 500 price tag and offers pretty decent gaming performance for the price tag it commands. The MSI R7 360 is a compact card, small in dimension fits in practically any casing types, other than the low profile ones.

The MSI R7 360 is without back plate and requires a PCI-E power connector to operate.

We tested this card on a setup with AMD A10-7850K APU, ASUS A88X-Pro Motherboard, 8GB of Dual Channel DDR3-2133 Mhz RAM and Windows 10 with the latest drivers.

For Futuremark’s 3D Mark test the MSI R7 360 scored 4226 with slightly below playable framerates, of course this test places quite some stress on the card. That doesn’t the card is not capable of delivering gaming performance.

For games like Bioshock Infinite, the MSI R7 360 scored 39 for average framerate. As for the temperature, the MSI R7 360 idles at idle 35c and reaches 73c on load.

The MSI R7 360 retails at RM 500, a good card with good price tag, great for anyone who’s looking for a compact card and does not demand top-of-the-line performance.
