All-New Considerations

Since the AMD Ryzen 2 is now officially available, it makes sense for customers to go for the latest motherboard. It’s definitely better than flashing the BIOS on the older entries. After all, the next-gen AMD X470 chipset – now available on the newly released mainboards – offers native support for the new AMD processor. It also packs in the very best in ASUS proprietary features and capabilities. Thus, it can be considered as one of the better and most innovative AMD X470 entries to-date.

STRIX(ly) Black

This being an ASUS entry, one closely related to ASUS Republic of Gamers, it’s fine to presume it’ll be a mix of black and red hues. Not so with the ASUS STRIX X470-F Gaming as it comes completely in black. Of course, it isn’t just that one shade as there are great-looing cyber-font inspired graffiti splashed across the major heatsink covers. This being 2018, there is bound to be RGB embedded on hardware and ASUS STRIX delivers as its next-gen motherboard lights up all over.

Large Brain

On this specific AM4 motherboard, the next-gen AMD socket has more than a handful of VRMs and capacitors surrounding it. Even so, it’s still spacious enough for massive third-party cooler blocks. Besides the usual array of DDR4 3600MHz RAM banks and PCIe x16 slots, there are a couple of NVMe slots too. They sit beside the SATA slots. These advance features pair up with the all-new AMD Ryzen 2 CPU and Western Digital NVMe storage system that came in this month. The entire experience is mind-blowingly awesome!
