Wireless And Wire-free
The Arlo Go is a security camera that works without the need of any wire. This is because the security camera uses 3G/4G LTE connectivity to connect to you and deliver live video straight to your phone or PC. Not only that, it is also wire-free. Thanks to the rechargeable battery, it can be mounted anywhere – away from any power points. This gives it flexibility on placement – it can be placed just about anywhere.
Easy Monitoring Anywhere
With the Arlo app, users can log into the camera and monitor remotely without physically being there. Videos recorded can also be recorded locally using a microSD card or stored in the cloud. The Arlo Go is robust – it is weather-resistant, so it can withstand rain with ease. Plus, it can see in the dark thanks to built-in nightvision. There is also a built-in two-way audio, so you can listen as well as talk-back with the speaker.
Picky Service
The dependency on 3G/4G LTE is also its drawback. If the location with the Arlo Go has low quality 3G/4G reception, users will not be able to stream HD video from the Arlo Go to their own mobile device. While rated for two to three months per battery charge, if the camera detects movement often, the batter life will be shorter than expected. Even so, it is a great solution for on-location CCTV monitoring without expensive set-ups.
