Resident Evil 2 Remake is only a couple of months away, but that isn’t all from the series that’s coming soon. Capcom will be re-releasing three classic titles for the Nintendo Switch in 2019. These titles include the original Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0, and Resident Evil 4.
The news was announced over on Capcom’s Twitter platform rather plainly. There isn’t much else info to go on, but the publisher promises to have more details soon. Though we don’t have a trailer or any screenshots to bide our time with, fans are still over the moon about the news.

One of the key benefits of having these classic titles on the Nintendo Switch is the portability of the console. The Switch will allow you to play these survival horror titles anywhere you want and at any time. These re-releases will also tap into a growing 20 million install base of Switch owners.
Although Resident Evil 2 Remake and the previous Resident Evil 7 won’t be coming to the Switch any time soon, it looks like Capcom is keen on broadening its reach. Perhaps successful sales might persuade them to develop ports or spin-offs exclusive to Nintendo’s platform.
