HONOR had announced the special collaboration with the local streetwar label Stoned and Co. at their launch of the HONOR 9X. And now it seems that this collab is coming to fruition, as they’re showing off the new HONOR 9X boxset in Stoned & Co.’s Japanese Maple leaf logo. And yeah, it’s a Japanese “Maple leaf”. I mean, that’s what they say anyway. But I feel like it’s alluding to something else. But anyway, more on the device.
This specially designed HONOR 9X boxset comes with a limited edition HONOR 9X smartphone casing, and it’ll be available in limited quantities at select HONOR Experience Stores.
But do keep in mind that the HONOR 9X in Malaysia, isn’t the real HONOR 9X. Mainly because it repackaged an older device, and sold that to get around the U.S.’s trade and Google ban. That’s already sketch enough as it is, but I guess you gotta do what you gotta do in this world, huh? The HONOR 9X comes with a 48MP Triple Camera and a 6.59” HONOR FullView Display, Kirin 710F processor, 4000mAh battery, and two colour variants; Sapphire Blue and Midnight Black.
This isn’t the first time they’re stepping into the fashion world, as they’ve collaborated with AAPE on a global level, Moscihno, TNTCO and SPAO. Guess they’re forever going to try to appeal to the ‘younger’ generation, which I can’t fault them for, but I can definitely make fun of about.
