realme has quite a hot year in 2019, as they’ve reportedly had a market YoY Growth of 865% from 2018 to 2019 in Malaysia. In addition to that, realme Malaysia also have achieved a 7.5% market share in the Android smartphone market. They were also recognized as the World’s Fastest Growing Smartphone Brand in 2019 by Counterpoint, so I guess they’re doing something right.

But then again, realme was established in 2018, so 865% YoY growth is impressive considering they’re a relatively new company. Especially in the smartphone game, where there’s a tonne of competitors working against them. From the devices we’ve personally checked out and reviewed, they’re relatively great performers for the price. It isn’t unfathomable for them to reach these figures, but still, impressive nonetheless.
