Razer Debuts The RM10k Blade Pro 17 Amidst Pandemic

Covid-19 pandemic is slowing global economy down, businesses are at a stall, retailers are struggling and consumers are stuck at home. Social distancing is keeping everyone on their toes and staying at home is the new norm. With all that time spent in the house what can one do, reports suggest that one activity that has surged over the lockdown period is gaming, the sport has expanded exponentially giving ammunition for game makers to look at their business differently.

An expert in this field is Razer, a leading gaming company who is involved in multiple aspect of the industry including building high quality machines for the professional gamer. While things have been slow across the sector, Razer has not slowed down one bit, it just launched the Blade Pro 17, top of its class gaming laptop that will have many forget the outside world when they are on this rig.

It comes with a 4K 120Hz display and a Full-HD 300Hz option for gamers, powering the unit is the 8-core 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10875H and option to have the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER installed. Razer built the Blade Pro 17 for both gamers and those in the content creation business looking to use it as their daily unit.

At approximately RM10,000 for creators, the 4K 120Hz touch display, can be custom calibrated  to cover 100% of the Adobe RGB space, suitable for those in design work and photography.

Powered by the new Intel 8-core i7-10875H processor, the Blade Pro 17 is faster and more efficient than previous models capable of clock speeds up to 5.1GHZ using Intel Turbo Boost and comes with a large 16MB cache.

Working in tandem with the new Intel 8 core processor is the new line of RTX SUPER GPUs, up to an RTX 2080 SUPER. The new RTX SUPER GPU line features up to 8GB of high-bandwidth GDDR6 memory and more ray tracing cores for up to a 25% increase in performance over the original RTX GPUs and improved real-time ray tracing performance. Keeping everything cool and working is the unique vapor chamber cooler for efficient heat dissipation , paired with a dual-fan system for additional active cooling.

Making it a desktop replacement worthy, Razer fitted the Blade Pro 17 with a UHS-III SD card reader, USB-C Thunderbolt 3 port, HDMI 2.0B port, 2.5Gb Ethernet port and Wi-Fi 6.

Topping all these off, the signature keyboard is still there featuring a refreshed keyboard with an extended right shift key and half-height directional keys with per key Razer Chroma RGB backlighting.
