Talk about clever marketing strategy, Proton has designed a remarkable air intake system in its upcoming X70 2020 model which will include the high standard N95 filters as a standard feature. The car company is fully utilising N95’s gold standard in face masks and bring its highly regarded reputation as a personal protection accessory to its cars.
The Smart Air Cleansing system is a comprehensive unit that combines the N95 cabin filter and air cleaning technology, which will be fitted in every model this year. With this two system in place, Proton aims to increase the interior air quality and at the same time remove particles trapped in the cabin.

According to Proton CEO Dr Li Chunrong, the N95 cabin filter can remove 95% of air particles larger than 0.03 micron and filter 98% dust particles. This added feature will provide comfort to car buyers who are looking at keeping their interior safe from unwanted deadly germs. All new X70 will come with the new feature and Proton is currently accepting booking. For existing owners, options are available to fit their X70 with the N95 filter at RM79 not including labour charges.
N95 masks is a Malaysian invention known for its high quality filtering system, its the only mask listed and recommended by the FDA and CDC. During the Covid 19 pandemic, many doctors and frontliners were seen using the masks, including nation leaders.
