It’s safe to say that among all the names on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at the moment, Donald Trump’s star is probably the most divisive. The US president has had his fair share of critics in recent weeks, and it looks like people have finally decided to take it out on his star on one of Hollywood’s most iconic streets.
Donald Trump’s star has been blacked out with spray paint, with the words “BLM” tagged just below it. To add insult to injury, someone placed a bag of what appears to be dog faeces as the proverbial cherry on the top of this cake.

The work of “art” comes after thousands of people marched down Hollywood Boulevard on Sunday to stand in solidarity with those demanding reform and an end to the systemic racism that has led to the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery recently.
It should come as no surprise to you that this isn’t the first time that Trump’s star has been vandalised. Back in 2016, someone used a pickaxe and hammer to destroy the star but not before L.A. street artist Plastic Jesus constructed a masterpiece in response to Trump’s proposal to construct a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

As you can see, Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has seen worse days. It’ll be interesting to see how long this piece of “art” lasts.
