You thought you’ve caught ’em all? YOU’D BE WRONG.
The Pokémon GO Live website just announced that players are getting more than 80 Pokémons later this week. Featuring Pokémon originally discovered in the Johto region in the Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver video games, users can now catch Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, as well as Pokémon with gender-specific variations.
Along with that, Niantic announced new evolutions, as well as new gameplays including ways Pokémon will react and new items on the carousel. New Berries and new Evolution items will be available at PokéStops, with 2 new Berries called Nanab Berries and Pinap Berries. According to the site, “Giving a Pokémon a Nanab Berry will slow its movements, making it easier to catch. The Pinap Berry doubles the amount of Candy you’ll receive if your next catch attempt succeeds.”
