Malaysia, 28th July, 2016 – Sony Interactive Entertainment Hong Kong Ltd (Singapore Branch) (SIES) announced today at the PlayStation®VR Asia Conference that PlayStation®VR (PS VR), a virtual reality system that takes PlayStation®4 (PS4™) system to the next level of immersion, will be available on 13th October 2016 in Malaysia, at the suggested retail price of MYR 1,849. The PlayStation®VR and PlayStation Camera bundle will also be available in Malaysia at a suggested retail price of MYR 2,029.
More than 60 PS VR software titles are confirmed to be launched in Asia*, and 13 of those titles are developed by local developers including Mortal Blitz VR (SKONEC Entertainment Co., Ltd) from Korea, Stifled (Gattai Games) from Singapore, and O! My Genesis (XPEC ENTERTAINMENT INC.) from Taiwan.

And I am so delighted to announce that PS VR will be available from 13 th October, simultaneous with Japan, Europe and North America, demonstrating how we think highly of gamers in Asia” said Hiroyuki Oda, Deputy President of Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia. “We also want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to game developers from Asia for creating so many exciting PS VR titles. We will bring the best gaming experience that is only possible with PS VR.”
SIES also announced that pre-order of PlayStation VR will be available at selected Sony Stores and PlayStation® Authorised Dealers from 30 th July 2016. Customers can pre- order PlayStation®VR or PlayStation®VR with PlayStation®Camera, while stocks last.
