Moments can now be immortalised forever with the newly launched pocket printer from HP Malaysia, unlike existing instant pictures that require shaking them or have them come out of a bulky camera, the Sprocket photo printer releases instant colour prints at a press of a button.

First making it appearance earlier this year in the States, the bright coloured Sprocket photo printer at first glace appears more like a power bank than a printer and light in weight possibly made to be placed in handbags. Kym Lim Managing Director at HP attests to this observation, she has been lugging one around with her and has been taking dinner photos with the friends occasionally getting curious looks from diners.

Easy to get started, pair the phone with the printer via Bluetooth, download the app available in both available in Android and iOS and start with instantaneous prints of 2 x 3” in size. The app works as the link between the smartphone and the printer loaded with tons of fun features present to choose from like filters, emojis, stickers and fonts to enhance the photographs. Users can pick the best taken shot to be printed and reserve the rest for social sharing, no wastage or prints unlike instant camera prints.

Using Zink paper, each unit loads 10 pieces has a peel-and-stick backing and is water, tear and smudge resistant. Price RRM599 comes in Black, White and Red.
