With the holidays fast approaching, it’s only natural that we round up some of the tech gadgets, stuff, and gifts that we think are a must have. Because what better way to celebrate, than to buy something shiny and new?
Now it doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to gift these to someone, because why not take the time to get yourself something that will really bring in the New Year with some new stuff to tinker with. We’ve got a collection of all sorts of stuff this time around in Gizmos, so check out some of what we think, will be the perfect gifts this holiday season! (Also, Happy Holidays from the PC.com team, and a Happy New Year!)

iPhone 11 Pro
What more needs to be said about this year’s iPhone lineup? The only thing that needs to be said is that it’d make a great gift to yourself, or a loved one. Sure, it might not be the most innovative out of all their iPhones, but it’s still a great phone with many people picking one up for themselves. The iPhone 11 Pro comes with a 5.8” Super Retina XDR display, the latest A13 Bionic Chip, and the latest and greatest features to the iPhones; a triple rear camera. The three cameras on the back feature a 12MP Ultra-wide, Wide, and Telephoto cameras, and not to mention an updated Night mode. So overall, it’s still a solid device. The iPhone 11 Pro starts of RM 4899 for the base 64GB variant, so check it out if you know someone who’s an Apple fanboy. Or I mean, if you wanna prank a dedicated Android fan. Either way.
Garmin fēnix 6X
If you’re looking for a smartwatch, you can’t really go wrong with a Garmin. One of the newer iterations is the fēnix 6 lineup, which includes the 6X. It really is a great looking watch, along with having the functionality to back it up. The 6X comes with a 1.4”, the fēnix 6 collection includes Power Manager for longer battery life, and a Body Battery energy monitoring feature making its debut in a fēnix series to help users manage their workout schedules, rest times and sleep. There’s an option to get the Sapphire edition, but that’s going to cost you a bit more. There’s also new nylon bands and silicone colours, so there’s some customization to what you can do with it. The fēnix 6X Sapphire edition starts off at RM 4199, but there are other variants, so search up if you’re thinking of getting one!
Vivo Nex 3
Vivo’s Nex 3 is actually a very attractive package if you take into consideration what it has to offer. Don’t be fooled by its aesthetics, because that’s not the only update this thing brings to the table. The Nex 3 features a 6.89” Waterfall Fullview display, Qualcomm Snapdgragon 855 Plus, a 16MP front camera with a triple rear camera setup of 64MP + 13MP + 13MP. It having a Waterfall display is interesting enough as it is, as it doesn’t have physical buttons on the side of it, but rather uses a combination of Touch Sense and X-Axis Haptic. It’s a cool look into what future smartphones will look like, but the Nex 3 is here now. The phone retails for RM 3899, so get this for that guy who truly loves smartphone innovations.
