Pasar Malam Connaught is the first digital market in Asia, providing cashless payment around your favourite neighbourhood stalls.

Starting operations on 31 May, the digital payments are powered by WECONNECT´S O2O-Scan2Pay, a mobile application made by MIG Mobile Tech.

Launched in August, WECONNECT is the first mobile application in Malaysia designed to facilitate shopping, commerce and trade online and offline.

Pasar Malam Connaught is the first night market in Malaysia to adopt mobile payment system Scan2Pay. Scan2Pay helps vendors and users embrace cashless payment system, making payments quicker and more convenient.

MIG Mobile said in a statement that the WECONNECT application and Scan2Pay features were created to meet the increasing demands from businesses towards the need to move towards digital for a more convenient payment system. The company plans to roll out the application along with Scan2Pay to more night markets across Malaysia.
