Overwatch World Cup 2018 Bangkok Stage Begins on 14th September

The Overwatch World Cup is happening soon, and will take place in Bangkok from 14th to 16th September. National teams from China, Spain, Australia, Sweden, and Denmark will compete against hometown heroes from Thailand to earn their place in the Top 8 Finals at BlizzCon.

If you’re keen on spectating some of the highest levels of competitive Overwatch in person, you can purchase tickets from Thai Ticket Major. All ticketholders are also entitled to a gift of an event-exclusive Overwatch lanyard, which can be collected at the venue.

Exciting side activities

Besides the Esports action, visit Hall 1 of the Royal Paragon Hall, 5th floor, Siam Paragon, for a wide range of activities to enjoy. The doors will be open for free, from 10am to 7pm through the event duration.

As for merchandising, Blizzard has a whole array of gear, hero statues, team jerseys, and Funko POPs! for sale. All of these will be purchasable on-site, including event-limited Overwatch World Cup caps.

Lastly, Blizzard is inviting Overwatch fans all around Southeast Asia to show their support for the event. State, “Yes, I’m going,” on the Facebook event invite for a chance to unlock swag and lucky draw prizes that can only be won by attendees. The grand prize of this includes a Reaper statue. The challenge ends on 13th September 2018, a day before the event begins.
