OPPO has announced that its upcoming Reno13 series will be the first to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chip, marking a significant step in the collaboration between the two brands. The new chipset, built on TSMC’s second-generation 4nm process, delivers enhanced power efficiency, AI capabilities, and gaming performance.
The Dimensity 8350 features an advanced NPU, offering 8x faster generative AI processing, 2 times improvements in compute tasks, and a 3.3 times boost in AI performance compared to the previous generation. It also delivers a 20% performance increase with 30% lower power consumption, making it highly energy-efficient.

The Dimensity 8350’s advanced AI capabilities fully support the Reno13 series’ AI features, including imaging and gaming. The chip’s powerful NPU 780, combined with OPPO’s HyperTone Engine, enhances AI imaging, providing superior photo quality with faster multi-frame fusion. Additionally, the Mali-G615 6-core GPU delivers a 60% boost in peak gaming performance, with up to 55% greater efficiency.
