OPPO have officially launched their latest mid-range smartphone, the OPPO A92, available in Malaysia starting today, May 4.
The A92 sports a 6.5-inch IPS FHD+ display with a punch-hole camera setup on the front at the top left corner. On the inside, the A92 features a Snapdragon 665 chipset which comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. While these seem to be lacklustre specs, the A92 packs a whopping 5000mAh battery with 18W USB-C fast charging support. It also has a side mounted fingerprint sensor on the lock button on the right, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
For their cameras, the A92 sports a quad-camera setup with a 48MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, 2MP macro camera and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, punch-hole camera is a 16MP sensor. Overall, it looks to be a pretty similar device to plentiful of other mid-rangers with nothing new to bring to the table. Considering the price point, I can’t really complain.
For it’s pricing, the OPPO A92 comes in at RM1,119 and is available for pre-order from May 4 – May 8. It comes in two colour variants; Twilight Black and Shining White. Pre-order bonuses included a free 18-month warranty as well as a free Olike Bluetooth speaker.
