Looks like OPPO has exhausted avenues on being the undisputed selfie smartphone and is moving into a more in-trend mobile gaming fad. After endless launches of its phones of nearly all series linked with camera, the rather unhinged brand is now following the footsteps of more popular brands.

In a recent announcement, OPPO has collaborated with Garena to offer a 5 V 5 multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) Arena of Valor mobile game during its R5 roadshows. The game is a new MOBA game designed by Tencent Games and combines DC superheroes like Batman, WonderWoman and Superman in an epic battle right inside a jungle. The game allows players to group up an fight in real time. While honor with the 8 Pro has found a comfortable position in gaming with Mobile Legends, it seems OPPO is trying similar venture with AOV on its F5.
Despite the F5 coming with 6GB RAM and 3200mAH battery, it still lacks the depth its competitor had falling short in display quality battery power and processing prowess. Its a wonder if the phone was built with gaming in mind or an after thought. No doubt the pricing is way apart, but experiencing gaming on a device has to be memorable- claiming to be and not delivering is misleading.
For those who are curious, the tournaments will be held two rounds in a day with each tournament session for 2 hours, prizes include hero reward card, lanyard, wristband and keychain.
