
Going strong with its efforts to help elder-lies in need, OKI Data Malaysia team paid a visit to ‘Pusat Jagaan Ebenezer Home’ in Shah Alam. Part of its giving back to the community initiative, the team served up delicious and healthy meals to residents of the nursing home, in addition to providing a range of daily essentials such as mattresses, bedding’s and towels.
“We would like to create a meaningful impact to these less fortunate communities in need by organising worthwhile charity activities and also as a token of giving back to the community,” said Goh Yin Hwang, Country Manager of OKI Data (S) Pte Ltd – Malaysia Rep Office.
Ebenezer Home, founded in 2009, houses a total of 30 residents, where many of its patrons welcome corporate’s to pay them visits and try treat the occupants at least once a month. Through this charity initiative, the company hopes to raise awareness for the home, as it is in dire need of volunteers and support. Says Goh: “We might not get to help everyone, but everyone can help someone. We believe that the smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention.”
