Owners of the Huawei nova 2 Lite will now be able to make digital calls over Wi-Fi and LTE networks. This feature goes live right after Huawei announces that the model now supports VoLTE and VoWi-Fi functions. The former is available for Digi, U Mobile, Unifi, and Yes 4G users. As for the latter, it’s only available on two networks: Digi and U Mobile.

According to Huawei, these two innovative offerings will ensure that calls will no longer have bad reception.

With VoLTE and VoWi-Fi connections, Huawei nova 2 Lite users can enjoy digital calls in true high definition. This is possible as the networks now manage calls on the digital platform; this ensures the entire handover process is seamless at all times. Additionally, users can enjoy local fee charges when making calls to Malaysia from overseas. Through these inclusions, Huawei wants to emphasise its new device can now offer high quality calls at affordable pricing; after all, its asking price isn’t too high.

Bill Liu, Country Director of Huawei Malaysia says, “We first introduced the VoLTE and VoWi-Fi with the Huawei Mate 10. Since then, we want to do more. That’s why it’s also available on the highly accessible Huawei nova 2 Lite. This signifies our commitment still focus on underpinning customers at the beginning and end of everything we do.”

The Huawei nova 2 Lite also offers progressive functions on its rear-facing dual-camera. Up front, there is the equally as nifty selfie toning flash. Specs wise, the smartphone also boasts a 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, all to power the EMUI 8.0 user interface. The latter promises a more intelligent and smooth usage experience.
