Nothing has unveiled Ear (3), the latest generation of its True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds, featuring a Super Mic in the charging case and a refreshed design that integrates metal components into the brand’s signature transparent aesthetic. The earbuds are engineered to provide high-fidelity sound, advanced voice capture and adaptive noise cancellation for personal audio.
Ear (3) introduces a Super Mic system housed in the charging case, using dual microphones with ambient-filtering technology to isolate voices from surrounding noise up to 95 dB. The feature can be activated via a TALK button on the case for calls or voice notes, which sync to Nothing’s Essential Space app and are automatically transcribed.
Each earbud also incorporates three directional microphones and a bone-conduction Voice Pick-up Unit (VPU) to detect micro-vibrations from the jaw and ear canal, enhancing call clarity even in noisy environments. Multi-channel AI environmental noise cancellation reduces wind noise by over 25 dB, while Real-time Adaptive Noise Cancellation adjusts every 600 milliseconds to maintain consistent isolation.
The earbuds are equipped with 12mm dynamic drivers and patterned diaphragms, offering 20% larger radiating areas than the previous generation, resulting in boosted bass by 4–6 dB and treble by up to 4 dB. Real-time Adaptive Noise Cancellation works alongside the upgraded drivers to deliver a wider soundstage, cleaner highs and richer mids.
Design improvements include a polished metal-accented transparent casing, a Metal-Insulator-Metal antenna for improved signal strength and a charging case crafted from 100% recycled aluminium. Nano injection moulding fuses metal and plastic without glue, producing a seamless unibody. The earbuds carry a 55 mAh battery for up to 10 hours of playback, extending to 38 hours with the case. A 10-minute USB-C charge provides up to 10 hours of listening, with wireless charging also supported.
Connectivity is ensured through Bluetooth 5.4 with LDAC, Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair, while a low-latency mode reduces delay to under 120 milliseconds for gaming and video. Ear (3) is IP54-rated for dust, sweat and light rain resistance
Ear (3) will be priced at RM759 and is available in black and white. Open sales begin on 6 October 2025 through nothing.tech, Lazada, Shopee, Nothing Malaysia TikTok Shop and selected retailers including DirectD, TMT, URBAN REPUBLIC, Vivid Concepts, TAC Mobile, SS Solution and Nothing Image Store.
