Nintendo knew they had hit a jackpot when they came out with the Nintendo Switch Lite variant, the handheld only Switch. Mostly because it was a cheaper Switch, but also because it gave them the opportunity to explore more dynamic colour variants. Mostly because the standard Switch usually has a standard black body, but has different edition joycons.

They started off with three colour variants: Teal, Yellow, and Grey. But now they’re expanding to include their latest colour, Coral. I guess it kinda looks like a pinkish shade of coral I probably have seen before, but I wouldn’t define this colour as Coral. But hey, it’s cute, and I can see a market for it. Mind you, the Coral variant Switch Lite will only be available in Japan as of now, but they should be coming out with an international release soon. No word on it yet, but here’s hoping.

That being said, I just wanted to write this story mainly so I could use the title: Flesh-Lite. You know, cause it looks like a ‘flesh’ coloured Switch Lite? What the heck did you think I was talking about? Sheesh.

​ Pre-orders for the Coral Switch Lite starts on March 7th, 2020 in Japan. And like I said before, no mention of a International release yet.
