BIG SPOILER ALERT IF YOU HAVEN’T WATCHED SPIDER-MAN- FAR FROM HOME
The announcement was made over Twitter on Wednesday and here is the teaser for it. Spider-Man is back again with the new movie and we couldn’t be more excited about it.
In the last movie, the mid-credit scene really left our jaws dropped as J. Jonah Jameson of Daily Bugle revealed Spider-Man’s secret identity to the world. Remember Spider-Man’s reaction in that particular scene? That’s us too.
The news has been roaming the Internet that Marvel is releasing a new Spider-Man movie except, we weren’t sure what’s the full title is going to be. The stars of the movie franchise itself have been actively trolling people by posting fake teaser posters for the upcoming movie.
The query answered as the title is confirmed to be Spider-Man: No Way Home and is expected to hit theatres on December 17 this year.
Rumour has been going around about the plot of the movie. After the 2018 animated movie, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, fans have been wanting a live action version of the movie with Tom Holland, Tobey MGuire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man coming together. Holland however denied these rumours (here’s to hoping still).
But, here’s why the Multiverse plot might still happen. The Marvel series WandaVision on Disney+ has hinted of possible multiverses. The series will also tie in with Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness and even the new Spider-Man title has us questioning what does “No Way Home” mean? What does Tom Holland have to say about that?
We do know that we will see some familiar faces in the upcoming movie. It is said that Alfred Molina will be reprising his role as Doctor Octopus, Jamie Foxx as Electro and Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange.
So, how do you guys feel? Excited? Overwhelmed? Happy? Eager? All we can do is hope that Covid-19 will be ending faster so we will get to see this before our own eyes at the cinemas soon so wear your mask people!
While we wait, enjoy this meme.
