Sources have revealed a bit about an upcoming gaming laptop from ASUS dubbed the ROG GX501. What’s special about it? Well, for one, it sports a GTX1080 GPU but is less than 1.7cm thick! To be precise, the information suggests that the GX501 will be 16.65mm, making it the thinnest GTX1080-equipped laptop.

With a GPU as powerful as that, it naturally displays up to 4K with an NVIDIA G-Sync supported monitor. Other specs that were revealed include a 7th generation Core i7 and up to 24GB of DDR4 in terms of memory.

Now all we have to do is wait for CES for its official pricing, images and specs to be revealed.
