Netflix is looking for translators and subtitlers (anyone qualified out there?), and has created an online testing system that gets interested individuals who want to apply have their work rated and if qualified, get hired by the company.

Hermes is Netflix subtitling and translating system that has layers of phases that can test skills of users trying it out. The need for localisation around the world has prompted the streaming service to expand its language offering, apart from English, Spanish and Portuguese. Now they have over 20 different languages being offered and want to grow this number to even include BM in the near future possibly.

Since its unveiling, thousands of candidates around the world have already completed the test covering all represented languages. So, if you think you have it and have much spare time in your hands, why not test your talent on being a translator. Narcos in BM would appeal to a wider audience don’t you think?
