NetEase Games has revealed the first gameplay footage of Sea of Remnants, a free-to-play ocean adventure RPG developed by Joker Studio, set for release on PlayStation®5 and PC (Steam) in 2026.
In Sea of Remnants, players step into the role of a puppet-like sailor with no memory, navigating vast seas alongside a mysterious girl in a world filled with secrets, factional intrigue and mythical sea beasts.
The latest gameplay trailer, “Orbtopia Man”, offers a look at island life, character interactions, and monstrous ocean encounters:

Previously revealed during PlayStation’s State of Play on 4 June, the game promises dynamic storytelling with over 300 unique NPCs across rival factions, real-time naval battles, turn-based island combat, and a living world shaped by player choices.
When not exploring, players can unwind in the main port city through activities like fishing, hotpot cooking and mahjong—though pirate-style “relaxation” may involve bar fights and fashion contests.
