Naughty Dog is introducing a brand new series of videos that dives deep into some aspects of The Last of Us Part II.

Leading up to the launch, these videos will have members from Naughty Dog discussing the upcoming game’s design, technology and ideas.

The first entry to the video series sees members of the team discussing the story aspect of the game. In the video, they share what the game aims to deliver and provides details of what its characters’ lives are like since the events of the first game.

A video for the series will be posted on a weekly basis, until June 3 2020. With the release of the first video, fans can expect three more videos in the coming weeks.

The videos are clearly spoiler-free, so you don’t have to worry about that bit.

I don’t know about others, but I definitely appreciate this newly introduced video series by Naughty Dog.

In a way, it gives a bit more momentum to the game’s release on June 19. At the same time, it gives players good insight into what went down during the development of the game.

Perhaps for other players, they’d be able to go into The Last of Us Part II with a newfound sense of appreciation that wasn’t already there. Well, that’s just what I think after watching the first video.
